How can you
help?
The Children’s Feeding Trust is run largely by volunteers, thus
every helping hand is vital. You can help us with the following:
-
Books Etc, our bookshop, situated at the
Walmer Town Hall in Port Elizabeth, is open 6 days a week
from 10h00 – 16h00 Monday to Friday and 09h00 – 12h00 on
Saturday. It is run by volunteers doing 3 hour shifts. It is
The Children’s Feeding Trust’s largest source of income, so
donations of 2nd hand books and time volunteered in Books
Etc are much needed and would be appreciated.
-
At Amsterdam Hoek a group of volunteers
reconditions cards to be sold in pharmacies, schools and in
Books Etc. Donations of used greeting cards would be greatly
appreciated.
-
The Annual Street Collection needs
volunteers each year. Please phone us if you can help for an
hour or two on 1 May 2010.
-
We hold an annual Jumble Sale. Please
help by donating clothing, toys, household goods, etc.
-
Perishable food items are always
appreciated by the hungry. Please phone us and we will
collect.
-
The Trust is a registered Non Profit
Organization – Reg. No 003-519NPO and donations are tax
deductible in South Africa in terms of Sec. 18A of the
Income Tax Act. Please consider completing a stop order to
become a regular donor.
